You're Scheduled for a Wage and
Hour Audit... Now What?

You've just received
that dreaded notice in the mail from the U.S. Department of Labor:
"Your company has been scheduled for a Wage-Hour Investigation
for the date and time listed above. This investigation is being made
to determine the firm's compliance with the provisions of the Fair
Labor Standards Act and other related Federal Labor Laws." (This
is actual notice language.)

Compliance Update: FMLA
|
|
Effective March 8, 2013,
a Final Rule amending certain regulations of the Family and Medical
Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) will be incorporated into the law and is
part of the revised FMLA posting. All employers who have more than 50
employees within a 75-mile radius must post the new poster as part of
their federal posting requirements.
